Terri Phillips is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist specializing in neurofeedback, individual, couples and family therapy and maintains a private practice in Temecula, CA.
Terri was born and raised in Michigan and completed her BA degree in
Psychology in Chicago, IL. In a quest for better weather, she moved to
California in 1986 to pursue her graduate degree in Psychology. Terri
completed Marriage and Family Licensure in 1996.
Terri has practiced in a variety of settings including private practice,
family law court, clinical supervision of interns, residential treatment
centers, and with juvenile offenders. It is this, along with experience as a
parent that endables her to offer a great deal to clients involved in the
process of healing.
In search of additional ways to assist clients in achieving their goals to
feel better, she began training to provide Neurofeedback. Terri completed
her training through EEG Spectrum International, Inc. and is currently a
member of EEG Spectrum's Affiliate Progam. Neurofeedback research is
continuing to move forward and the research thus far has produced favorable
results in many areas in which clients suffer such as ADD, OCD, depression,
anxiety, autistic spectrum disorders and peak performance.
Terri is an interactive, solution-focused therapist. Her therapeutic
approach is to provide support and practical feedback to help clients
effectively address personal life challenges. She integrates complementary
methodologies and techniques to offer a highly personalized approach
tailored to each client. With compassion and understanding, she works with
each individual to help them build on their strengths and attain the
personal growth they are committed to accomplishing.
